Boško Ivkov, poet, writer, essayist (Stapar, 1942-Novi Sad, 2010). He wrote
short stories, poetry, novels. His works have been translated into several
world languages. Ivkov also experimented with translations, from the Ruthenian
language, in cooperation with the author, he translated two books of poems by
Julian Tamas. He was the editor of the magazine Pokret, Indeks;
re-establisher and editor-in-chief of Polja (1968-1974); initiator of
the idea, and from the second issue the editor-in-chief of
Domet (1975-1979); chief and responsible editor of
Letopis (1980-1991) and editor of the
Department (1992-1998). In the period from 2000 to 2013, he published
ten books about Vojvodina under the title Earth and Growth, with the
subtitle "Reader of Vojvodina".
