Dimitrije Vučenov

Dimitrije Vučenov, literary and theater historian and critic, translator (Vukovar, 1911-Belgrade, 1986). He was a professor and dean of the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade (1961–1969), president of the Education Council of Serbia (1971–1975) and manager of the Kolarac National University (1974/75). He edited the magazines Literature and Language, Yearbook of the City of Belgrade (from 1954), Contributions to Literature, Language, History and Folklore (from 1965) and Letopis (1974-1979). He is the author of a monograph on R. Domanović, L. Lazarević, Serbian realists and a series of studies on Serbian literary periodicals.
