Todor Manojlović, poet, playwright, essayist, translator (Zrenjanin, 1883-Zrenjanin, 1968). One of the theorists of Modern in Serbian literature, he was a Modernist poet, essayist and translator of several languages. His dramatic, literary-historical and literary-theoretical works are of inestimable importance for the development of modern Serbian literature. His plays Centrifugal Dancer, Katinka's Dreams and The Enchanted King were printed and performed in the National Theater in Belgrade during the writer's lifetime, while Nahod Simeon was performed in Hungarian, in Szeged. The Bewitched King and Commedia dell'arte were published posthumously, as well as Basics and development of modern poetry and New Literary Fair were also published posthumously. The unfinished Novel of Čedomilj Vesić also remained in the manuscript. He was the editor of Letopis (1931).
